Our apologies to anyone who has tried to reach via telephone for the past few days. We were having some technical difficulties but have now resolved all of them and are back up and running.

Do you have old computers, monitors, keyboards,printers or mice just laying around? Are they unwanted, unloved and unnecessary clutter in your house? Then Middleboro is looking to help you!

These items can’t just be tossed in our landfills. They need to be disposed of properly – which can be a hassle if you don’t know where to bring these items or how to dispose of them.

On Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Middleboro is sponsoring an e-Waste Collection Day. Simply bring your unwanted electronic items (no televisions, please) to the Middleboro Town Hall parking lot.

This free event is sponsored by Middleboro’s Department of Public Works and Office Recycling Solutions. There is no charge to Middleboro residents and business owners.

If you won’t have the opportunity to bring these items to Town Hall yourself, South Shore Computer Repair is offering to take in these items and then bring them to to Town Hall for you. If you drop off your unwanted computers by 5:00PM on Thursday, October 14th, we will also make sure that your computer hard drives are wiped clean so that none of your personal data is going out beyond your control.

Our shop hours are Tuesday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. So bring your old technology to us and we will make sure that it gets to Town Hall on Saturday to be disposed of properly!
