The Future of Middleborough Trust: The Future of Middleborough Trust (FOMT) was formed in 2008 by a group of concerned citizens and has filed for tax exempt status as a charity. The goal of FOMT is to work for the benefit of the people of Middleborough. FOMT has decided that it’s first project will be the implementation of PROJECT LIFESAVER in the Town of Middleborough.
Oak Point Homeowners Charity Golf Tournament 2010: On Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, the fourth annual Oak Point Homeowners Charity Golf Tournament will be held at The Back Nine Golf Course in Lakeville. The tournament is open to the public. This year, the charities will be Homes For Our Troops and the Alzheimers Association
Pratt Farm Fall Festival: A hiker always has the chance of seeing wildlife at Pratt Farm’s fields, ponds, and forest. Located in the heart of cranberry country, Pratt Farm was spared from development in 1986 when the Middleborough Conservation Commission acquired the land for open-space preservation. With Middleborough’s close proximity to Route 495, development pressures will likely continue, and the conservation work of farsighted citizens will become even more important.
Sacred Heart Food Pantry Fundraiser: In conjunction with The Future of Middleborough Trust, South Shore Computer Repair is helping to raise money for the local food pantry.
